Jehovah El Roi "God Who Sees Me"
Thank you for the chosen place in you. I seek refuge in your heart and lean into your arms for comfort and peace. You sent me into the earth realm in (your year) to come in the volume of the book that is written of me. Help me to walk worthy of the calling and to be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord knowing my labor is not in vain. I am grateful for your love O Lord. I submit to you and resist the devil, so he will flee. I bring my mind under subjection to the Holy Spirit who empowers me not to be conformed but transformed by the renewing of my mind.
Creator of heaven and earth. Attend to my cry. I cry aloud and spare not my feelings on this day as I feel this weight I need to lay aside. As your child, chosen and washed in the blood, I confess sin to those who are mature in the body to cover me in prayer, correct me in love, and conceal the matters in their heart. I come to you knowing you see my sin as someone in need of savior in the areas of my life that continue to keep parts of me bound. I know who the son sets free is free indeed and my wholeness is not manifested because there are still some areas in my life that are sick and causing dis-ease. I submit those strongholds to you today with intention and discipline. I understand I cannot do these things on my own, so it is through the finished work of Jesus and not by might, not by power, but by the Holy Spirit that I am able to flee all manners of evil and abstain from all wickedness. I ask to be free of compromise and conformity. I recognize the power of the world and the lust of the flesh are forces, but greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world.
I am no longer a slave of my past. My yesterday is fuel to stay present and will only be used as a reference for overcoming in the future. My past is a testament to the transformative work by Holy Spirit enabled through my faith which ignites God's compassion toward me. In turn, I extend the compassion of God to my neighbor and remember but for grace there go I. Thanksgiving is the password, so I approach the throne of grace boldly knowing you will supply all my needs according to your riches and glory. I know you are a sustainer and have demonstrated throughout my life your grace is sufficient.
I pray for my sisters today. I pray, Lord, your blessings will overtake them and make them rich. I pray they are blessed to be a blessing. I decree and declare they are taking immediate action to see the goodness of the Lord in their life by partnering with you for it. I pray your stir up my sisters' gifts and give them new opportunities to demonstrate their gifting. You are making room for them, and friends are tearing off roofs for them. I pray no weapon formed shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against them will be condemned. Therefore, Lord help us to watch what we say about ourselves and remind us we are listening. Help us to be kind to our mind so we can love you, ourselves, our neighbors and even our enemies correctly. We need you to help us accomplish the hard things in order to be doers and not just hearers of your word.
I close this prayer in gratitude. Ask, seek, knock. Thank you for our receiving abundantly, new findings, and unexplainable openings. We are the righteousness of God. We are in right standing with you and keep our appointment with "today." We walk in agreement with you and one another. We thank you for the spirit of collaboration for your word declares:
"If you've gotten anything at all out of following Christ, if his love has made a difference in your life, if being in community of the Spirit means anything to you, if you have a heart, if you care-then do me a favor: Agree with each other, love each other, be deep-spirited friends. Don't push your way to the front; don't sweet-talk your way to the top. Put yourself aside, and help others get ahead. Don't be obsessed with getting your own advantage. Forget yourselves long enough to lend a helping hand." Philippians 2:1-4 MSG
In Jesus Name,
Amen
